When is it time to consider a skilled nursing facility?
It may be time to consider a skilled nursing facility, if you are no longer able to care for an aging parent, spouse, or other loved one. This can be a difficult time because most people do not learn about the Nursing Homes in their area or the process involved in admitting a person until there is a crisis.
Skilled nursing facilities like Worthington Manor, Inc. can provide care for those who are unable to fully care for themselves. Some people will need long term physical, social, and therapeutic support that is offered by our trained staff on duty 24 hours a day. While others will need short term skilled services such as physical, occupational or speech therapy and nursing services after a hospital stay then return home.
